Kaper’s Hardware and Building Materials was started in 1981 with the purchase of an existing hardware store in Watseka, Illinois. Having a strong background in building materials and millwork and seeing a need in the area, Harry Kaper, the company’s founder, added a full service lumberyard to the product mix.

The business continued to grow and in 1990 a new hardware store & lumberyard facility were built on Veterans Parkway in Watseka.

Today Kaper’s continues to provide quality and service that customers have come to rely on, and they look forward to serving you on your next project.
